Eye Treatment in Alanya
Eye infections, foreign bodies, injuries and examinations — with referral for surgery when needed.
Eyes on a beach holiday
Chlorinated pools, salt water, sun, sand and air conditioning make eye problems common here. Most are minor; a few are not, and the difference matters because the eye tolerates delay badly.
Common problems
- Conjunctivitis — red, sticky, itchy eyes
- Foreign bodies: sand, grit, an insect, a contact lens fragment
- Corneal scratches, including from contact lenses worn in the sea
- Styes and eyelid infections
- Dry, burning eyes from air conditioning and sun
- Allergic eye symptoms
Clinic hours: 09:00–19:00, seven days a week
House calls: 24/7
Get seen the same day if
Vision is reduced, the eye is painful rather than gritty, light hurts, there was a blow or a chemical splash, or you wear contact lenses and have a red painful eye. Chemical splashes: rinse with clean water for twenty minutes first, then seek help immediately.
Beyond what a practice can do
Cataract surgery, retinal problems and glaucoma need an eye hospital. We assess, treat what should be treated, and refer promptly where specialist care is required.
