What a hotel visit actually involves
A house call is a full consultation, not a quick look. The doctor takes your history, examines you, measures temperature, blood pressure and oxygen saturation, and — where it changes the decision — runs a rapid test on the spot. You leave the visit with a diagnosis, a treatment that has already started, and written instructions you can read.
Most of what happens to travellers can be finished in the room: fever and infections, stomach upsets and dehydration, ear and throat infections, allergic reactions, insect bites, sunburn, heat exhaustion, cuts that need cleaning and closing, sprains, back pain and urinary infections. If you need something the room cannot provide — an X-ray, a scan, surgery, admission — we tell you plainly and arrange the hospital, instead of leaving you to find one.

What we treat on a house call
These are the problems we are called out for most often along the Alanya coast. Each one has a page of its own explaining the symptoms and the point at which you should stop waiting.

Coverage
Which areas we come to
The clinic is in Oba, which is where response times are shortest. We also drive out along the whole resort strip. If your hotel is not on the list, call anyway — we will tell you how long it will realistically take to reach you rather than promising an hour and arriving in three.

- Cikcilli
- Tosmur
- Kestel
- Mahmutlar
- Konaklı
- Avsallar

Money
Insurance and payment
You pay the doctor directly and claim the cost back from your travel insurer. That is how private medical care works almost everywhere in Turkey, and it is why the paperwork matters more than most people expect.
- Price quoted on the phone, before the visit
- Cash, card or bank transfer
- Itemised invoice with diagnosis, in English
- Signed medical report for the insurance claim
A doctor can be at your hotel within the hour
Call or send a WhatsApp message. Someone answers at three in the morning as well as at three in the afternoon.

Frequently asked questions
In Alanya centre, Oba, Cikcilli, Tosmur and Kestel the usual arrival time is 30–60 minutes. Mahmutlar, Konaklı, Avsallar, Payallar and Okurcalar take longer, particularly in summer traffic. You always get a specific expected time when you call.
Yes. House and hotel calls run 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including public holidays. The clinic in Oba keeps normal hours, 09:00–19:00, seven days a week, but the visiting service does not close.
It depends on the district, the hour and the treatment needed. The price is agreed on the phone before the doctor leaves and does not change afterwards. There is no charge for the phone advice itself.
The doctor carries what is needed for immediate treatment — injections, IV fluids, dressings, wound-care equipment and rapid tests. Anything you need to continue at home is written as a prescription you can fill at any Turkish pharmacy.
Yes. Hotels in Alanya are used to it, and you do not need the hotel’s permission to be seen by a doctor of your choice. If reception offers to call their own doctor you are still free to call us instead.
Yes. Children are a large part of what a resort doctor sees — fever, ear infections, stomach bugs, rashes and sunburn. A parent or guardian must be present throughout the visit.
Then we say so and arrange it, including which hospital is right for the problem and what to expect there. For anything life-threatening — unconsciousness, chest pain, breathing difficulty, heavy bleeding — call 112 first, then call us.
