A practice built around people who are away from home

Oguzhan Care is a private medical practice in Oba, Alanya, run by Dr. Oğuzhan Özkan. It exists because Alanya has a permanent population and a much larger temporary one, and because the second group has almost no easy way to see a doctor who speaks their language at the moment they need one.

The practice works on two tracks. The clinic in Oba runs normal consultation hours for residents and for visitors who can travel. Alongside it, the visiting service runs around the clock: the doctor goes to hotels, villas and apartments across Alanya, at whatever hour the call comes.

What we believe about medical care

You should understand what is wrong with you. A diagnosis you cannot repeat to your own doctor at home is not much use. Consultations are held in English, Turkish, Russian or German, and you leave with the reasoning written down, not just a prescription.

Urgent means today. A fever in a four-year-old at midnight is not a Monday-morning problem. If we say we will be there in an hour, that is a time, not a marketing promise.

Say what you cannot do. A private practice cannot replace a hospital. When a problem needs imaging, surgery or admission, our job is to recognise it early, say so plainly, and arrange the right hospital — not to keep the patient.
