Call 112 immediately if
Someone is unconscious or cannot be woken · is struggling to breathe · has chest pain or pain spreading to the arm or jaw · is bleeding heavily · has had a seizure · has a suspected stroke (face drooping, arm weakness, slurred speech) · has been in a serious accident · has swelling of the lips, tongue or throat after a sting, food or medicine.
112 is free from any phone in Turkey and is answered in English. A private doctor is for urgent problems — not a substitute for an ambulance.
What counts as urgent, and what we do about it
Most medical trouble on holiday is urgent without being an emergency: a fever that will not come down, vomiting that has gone on all night, an ear that has been hurting since the flight, a cut that will not stop bleeding, a rash spreading after a sting, a back that seized up in the pool. Those problems need seeing today — not on Monday, and not after a four-hour wait.
We see them the same hour, either in your room or at the clinic in Oba. That includes rapid tests where they change the decision, IV fluids for dehydration, injections for pain and vomiting, wound cleaning and stitches, and dressings. If the problem needs a hospital, we say so immediately and organise it rather than sending you to look for one.

Clinic or house call?
Come to the clinic in Oba if you can travel and it is within opening hours. It is the fastest option: 09:00–19:00, seven days a week, no appointment needed for urgent problems.
Ask for a house call if you cannot travel, if you have a small child, if it is the middle of the night, or if you are simply too unwell to move. The doctor comes to you, 24 hours a day.
If you are not sure which you need, call and describe the problem. We will tell you honestly — including when the answer is an ambulance and not us.
